Frank's secret - Dr Sylvia Roesch
I am a writer of children’s books in Portuguese, some of which have been translated into English and German. A major part of my time is spent on reading these stories in schools and libraries. I read them to audiences in both Portuguese and English, often together to help their language development. I have been inspired by having grandchildren, five so far. My writing has given me a new lease of life, following my earlier academic career. Many of the skills I developed there have been vital, including how to write precisely and to understand audiences’ needs. I had though to develop further my skills in literary writing techniques as well as in book production. I wish to continue learning. I hope that you enjoy my writing and if you have opportunities for story readings, please shout.
